YU & D Agrotech Auto Sales was founded by Engineer Yusuf Abdul Audu, Engineer Umar Bobboyi and Danjuma Isa Munga in 1997, this was as a result of the winding up of YESS Technosource in Jimeta, Nigeria. Yusuf A. Audu as an American trained engineer who has spent years in US studying decided to convince his friends in Nigeria to be partners in setting up the company. It was during Yusuf's stay in US that he learned the value of every automobile, and learned how the right care and knowledge could extend the life and performance of any car or truck. Although Yusuf was learning the most advanced techniques in auto repairs, he never forgot the lessons he learned from his mentors all those years ago. He worked with his mentors Prof Bill Hires of UMC and Don Moudy of Kishwaukee Illinois repairing and restoring cars for friends and neighbors; asking for little compensation in return. Yusuf never forgot the gratitude of those his mentors helped. He never forgot the warm feeling he felt every time his mentors would deliver a restored vehicle to someone who couldn't afford a new one. Yusuf was determined to honor his mentors by opening a business that would truly offer value to the community. He promised himself to always provide value and outstanding service, regardless of how large his business grew.
Yusuf and Co opened YU & D Agrotech Auto Sales in 1997 on a small lot on the outskirts of Jimeta town. Word of great deals and outstanding service quickly spread throughout the region. YU & D Agrotech Auto soon ran out of room for its growing inventory and had to find a larger facility that would allow it to continue growing.
It was the summer of 2004 when YU & D Agrotech Auto opened the doors of its center in the heart of Bachure Jimeta. The new site has service facility, a well stocked auto parts department, and of course an enormous inventory of pre-owned and overstocked vehicles. No need to run all over town to find the right vehicle. YU & D Agrotech carries all makes and models under one roof.
